It's Friday morning and Becky, Mike and I are at Mom's. Becky has set up an Internet connection here and has her notebook computer logged on. This is the first time Mom has been able to view this blog. We are showing her some of the comments to her and she said she wanted to post a message of her own.
Mom says, "Thank you so very much to everyone for all the cards, calls, comments, visits and prayers. All of these mean so much to me and I appreciate them greatly. I hope everyone is well. I love you all."

ReplyDeleteAunt Dorothy,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed our visit this past Sunday!! It was so nice to see you & you kids. We did a little bit of "sight-seeing" on the way up, but we finally made it. Mom said that's what Poppy used to say when he took the wrong turn or got lost!!! I learned something that day!! We LOVE You so Much & you're in our Prayers!!! Luv, Marv & Jayne
We love you too Mom and Kelly wants you to get better also so we can see you at the golf outing in July, she said get better Grandma and I love you...Mark, Ann and Kelly
ReplyDeleteHi Aunt Dorothy, I finally figured this(comment thing out) so that I could write to You. I have been thinking of You often and saying lots of prayers for You and Your Family. I've been reading your updates when they are posted and wishing that one day I would read that you are feeling better and back to your old self, doing all the things You like to do. I know we don't get to make those decisions, but wishing You all the best.
ReplyDeleteMom says to say Hi, also.
Love, Kathy and Tom
Hi Aunt Dorothy,
ReplyDeleteJust a note to say how much you are LOVED by your nieces and nephews. You have always shown us love and respect. We are so blessed to be from a large family that includes you. Love has never been in short supply even when material things may have been - and it is the love that we will always remember. Aunt Dorothy I know I am safe in saying that all of your nieces and nephews would love to be able to give you a hug right now in person and say I LOVE YOU. So I am going to ask that if this is being read to you - that that individual will give you a tremendous hug from all of your nieces and nephews that are not able to be there but have you in their thoughts and prayers.
THANK-YOU for the sweet and precious person you are and WE LOVE YOU!!!
We'll be happy to give her that hug, for sure.....who should we say it is from? (you forgot to post your name at the end) Jim
ReplyDeleteGive her one from us too Jim!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I can speak for all of the "outlaws" when I say that Dorothy has been the best mother-in-law one could find. We have always enjoyed having her travel with us to such exotic places like California (102 degrees at Disneyland), the Pacific Northwest, Texas and New Orleans (remember the curvy road near Eureka Springs, Ark.), Myrtle Beach, S.C., Washington, D.C. and New York and to Ohio so Grandma could tell Kelly the history of the Wenning-Broerman families. We hope to see you at the golf outing.
ReplyDeleteLove, Mark
We love you too Grandma! Hugs and Kisses! Rod, Nikki, & Paige
