Time getting scarce

Time is getting more scarce now. The hospice nurse put mom on oxygen yesterday and had a hospital bed brought in today. She is taking very little nourishment. She is off most of her medication now and is taking morphine. She is still alert when not sleeping and is talking, although her voice is very weak. Her spirit is still good and she is trying hard to visit with everyone who stops to see her. Her left lung is completely incapacitated with fluid now and is making breathing difficult sometimes.

Sorry for the bad report, but I know everyone is concerned. I'll let you know if there are anymore changes. Keep those prayers coming. Jim

  2. Aunt Dorothy & Family, God Knows our Prayers. Sometimes God knows our prayers before we even know ourselves, for He brought a Wonderful Aunt like you into our lives, & now I can't imagine what my world would have like without all your caring ways. Even thou we are so far apart, I truly enjoyed all the little "Thank You" cards I received from you in the past years. I have saved all of them & come across them & have to read them again & just "Smile". I know the Dear Lord has a "Special Plan" for you, because He knows how "Special" you are to Everyone around you. We LOVE you so very much!!!! Luv, ~Jayne & Marv~

  10. Aunt Dororty and Family,
I would like to share this with you. I just read this a few days ago and thought how appropriate.
God is the King who prepares the palace, sets the table, and invites his subjects to come in..
"Come to me all, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads, and I will give you rest."...
God is a God that invites and who also calls.
I know that these readings and bible verses are put it our lives to give us comfort.
We LOVE YOU Aunt Dorothy and continue to pray.
    Love,
    Trish and Jeff
