Oncologist Appointment April 10th

Peg reported that Dr. Hough's office notified her that they have set up an appointment with the oncologist on April 10th. Becky will be in town to go to this appointment with Mom and Peg. I'm not aware yet of where or with whom for this appointment, but will let you know when I find out.

    I just talked to Jim and Peg who are on their way to Dallas to pickup Mom. They had sucessfully past one casino in St. Louis and had their sites set on a lunch break at the first OK exit(Chuck reports there is a new casino at this exit. I fugure Jim and Peg will arrive in Dallas Friday night late. Then they will start their trek back to Pontiac on Saturday. With Mom wanting to stop every two hours (at casinos) on the way home, They should make the April 10th doctors apt with hours to spare. Happy BD Jim.

    NOt much has been said about Mom's visit with the Oncologist....I know she has stage 4 cancer and I have talked to a friend and realize that this is not good stage to have. I talked to Becky who says she is going to have a cat scan and a pet scan this week and my friend that is a nurse explained the pet scan. Which is they shot some radiation into her and see where it goes and how her body accepts it...correct me if I am wrong. Beck told me she is worn out in the morning and gets her energy more towards the middle of the day but still loves to watch her stories. Im so glad we got this blog and I hope we keep it up. I'm glad you all had a good Easter I sure did miss you all but we had fun down here in Dallas too but I told Mark the next holidays we are coming home for...sorry I warned you all now. Ann
